La Grèce et les Météores, quel beau voyage on a fait. Nous étions 6, mes 2 filles et leurs conjoints et mon mari et moi. Nous avions choisi le forfait avec hotels 3 étoiles, mais honnêtement, la qualité des hotels était parfaite. Toujours des déjeuners buffets, tout y était, beaucoup de choix et de très bonne qualité. Les hotels étaient propres et les chambre très confortables. On s'est sentis toujours très bien pris en mains et toujours très bien orientés. Les guides parlent plusieurs langues et toujours très bien le français. La guide que nous avons eue lors de la première semaine, s'appelait Dominique. Excellente guide, enjouée, généreuse, passionnée, gentille, aime prendre soins de sa clientèle, nous l'avons adorée. C'était notre première expérience en tour guidé et nous avons beaucoup aimé.... I traveled with a group of 12. None of us had ever done a wing buddy trip or tour. Absolutely everything about this trip was excellent! Every exchange to our boat, tour bus, motels, taxis and plane w ere on time and efficient. Our three star boutique hotels were above three stars and always in great locations. Our tour guide, George for Greece was exceptional. He was an archeologist with a wealth of knowledge and a great sense of humour. We went on two different tours while in Greece. All the hotels but one at Delphi were great. There were a whole lot of transfers for my wife and I, and everyone was right on time. On the whole I was pleased with my trip with Wingbuddy; with the following exceptions: We should’ve been notified that our (Toronto to Athens) flight was on Air Canada ROUGE, AC’s budget line - AC ROUGE was awful, especially considering that I paid extra to “upgrade” to a direct flight. The meals @ Hotel Hermes (in Delphi) were quite subpar - needs improvement. Otherwise I look forward to travelling with Wingbuddy again, assuming the price is right. GREEK ISLANDS & THE METEORA

12 NIGHTS / 14 DAYS
  • Day 1: Canada - Athens (Greece)Flight with a good Itinerary.
  • Day 2: Athens

    Arrival at the airport in Athens. You will be greeted by our local representatives after exiting the customs and transferred to your hotel in Athens. The rest of your day/evening is free for you to relax or start your exploration of the historic city of Athens.

    Discover Athens, the cradle of Western civilization, where ancient history meets vibrant modern life. Visit the impressive Acropolis, marvel at the Parthenon stroll through the neighbourhoods, and experience the charm of traditional Greek culture around every corner.

  • Day 3: Athens - Corinth Canal - Nauplion - Mycenae - Olympia

    After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart early morning along the coastal road to the Corinth Canal where you will make a short stop to admire the beautiful view. Continuation southward for the visit of the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, built in the 4th century BC and considered the most perfect of its time regarding acoustics. Group lunch ($) before moving towards Nauplion, for a short photo stop. Then you will arrive to Mycenae, a huge archeological site and one of the major centers of Greek civilization where you will see the Lion Gate and the Tomb of Agamemnon, constructed around 1250 BC. In the late afternoon, you will drive towards Olympia, through beautiful landscapes of Central Peloponnese. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games. (Breakfast-Dinner)

  • Day 4: Olympia - Delphi

    Following breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the archaeological site of Olympia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site holding over 70 significant buildings and ruins. There, you will see the remains of the Temple of Zeus and the Ancient Stadium as well as the Archaeological Museum. Group lunch ($). Then, you will take back the road through the plains of Eliad and Achaia to the magnificent bridge crossing the Corinthian Bay. Continuation onward to the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea before arriving in Delphi. Dinner and overnight in Delphi. (Breakfast-Dinner)

  • Day 5: Delphi - Kalabaka

    After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the extensive archaeological site of Delphi, Sanctuary of Apollo overlooking the nearby valley of Phocis, including the Archeological Museum. Late group lunch ($) before moving towards Kalabaka, a small town located at the foot of the astonishing complex of the Meteora, a gigantic rock formation in Central Greece. Upon arrival dinner and overnight in Kalabaka. (Breakfast-Dinner)

  • Day 6: Kalabaka - Athens

    Breakfast at the hotel and visit of the Meteora, one of the most majestic sights in Greece. Perched on top of huge rocks standing in the plain of Thessaly, monasteries from the 14th and the 15th centuries seem to be suspended in mid-air. Today, you will have the opportunity to visit one of the six remaining active monasteries, where you can see exquisite examples of Byzantine art. Following your half-day visit, you will drive back to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae where you will make a short stop to see the Statue of Leonidas. Arrival in Athens in the early evening. Overnight in Athens. (Breakfast)

  • Day 7: Athens - Paros

    After your breakfast at the hotel, greeting in the lobby of your hotel and transfer to the port of Athens to embark on a high speed ferry toward Paros. 

    Arrival at the port of Paros. Greeting by our local representatives and transfer to your hotel in Paros. Enjoy your afternoon and evening at leisure to explore the charming city of Parikia, the capital and the main port of Paros. (Breakfast)

  • Day 8 to 9: Paros

    All breakfasts at the hotel. 2 days to explore the gorgeous island of Paros at leisure. You can also book optional excursions ($) directly at your hotel. (Breakfasts)

    With its historical heritage dating back almost 7,000 years, its cultural and architectural wonders such as the Panagia Katapoliani (a Byzantine church built in the 6th century), its fine sand beaches with crystal clear waters and its picturesque villages consisting of white walled houses and narrow streets full of flowers, Paros has everything to seduce travelers.

  • Day 10:  Paros - Santorini

    After your breakfast at the hotel, greeting in the lobby of your hotel and transfer to the port of Paros to embark on a ferry toward Santorini.   

    Arrival at the port of Santorini. Greeting by our local representatives and transfer to your hotel in Santorini. Take advantage of your afternoon and evening at leisure to discover the infinite charm and beauty of this island. (Breakfast)

  • Day 11 to 12: Santorini

     All breakfasts at the hotel. 2 days to explore the majestic island of Santorini at leisure. You can also book optional excursions ($) directly at your hotel. (Breakfasts)

    Whitewashed villages clinging to the sides of the sea cliffs have made the volcanic island of Santorini one of the most widely photographed places in the world. The island's charm and subtle mystery have even made it a target of speculation as to the location of the lost city of Atlantis. On the other side of the island, black-sand beaches slide toward the sea. Venture on this island to appreciate a little corner of paradise where, after watching an unforgettable sunset, you will most likely want to stay forever.

  • Day 13: Santorini - Athens

    After your breakfast at the hotel, greeting in the lobby of your hotel and transfer to the port of Santorini to embark on a high speed ferry toward Athens.

    Arrival at the port of Athens in the afternoon. Greeting by our local representatives and transfer to your hotel in Athens. Enjoy the rest of your day/evening to explore the friendly areas of Plaka and Monastiraki and enjoy a glass of wine on a rooftop with views of the Acropolis. (Breakfast)

  • Day 14:  Athens - Canada

    Breakfast at the hotel. Greeting in the lobby of your hotel by our local representatives and transfer to the airport for your flight home. (Breakfast)

You need to make a 50% deposit upon reservation to secure your seats. If your departure is in less than 60 days, the full amount is due when booking.

What is the group size?

This amazing package combines an organized tour of the Meteora and a freedom tour while on the islands. The beauty of it is that it's completely hassle free for you: all flights, transfers, hotels with breakfasts, included visits and high-speed ferries are taken care of. You will be in a group from Day 3 to 6 inclusively. For the rest of the trip, you are free to enjoy your vacation without following a group: take a hike, swim in the sea, sail on a boat or rent a bike, visit local artisans and small villages... there is plenty to do!

Is triple occupancy available?

Yes. The price is the same for the 3rd passenger unless it is a child aged between 2 and 11 years old (at the time of the travel).

Is single occupancy available ?

Yes, you can book a single room for this tour, offering you comfort and privacy in your own space. Please note that single rooms are thoughtfully designed to offer a cozy and comfortable stay, typically featuring a single bed and a space slightly smaller than a standard double room.

Will there be someone waiting for us at the airport?

Yes, our local operators will welcome you at the gate holding a sign with "Wingbuddy" on it. You will be transfered to the hotel.

Are the hotels far from the city?
