I REALLY appreciated all the warm welcomes we received from the airport, to and from the ferries and back to the airport--it was seamless. We enjoyed the itinerary. We found the 3-star hotel rooms to be a bit cramped, when traveling in Europe, go for the 5-star. Some hotels had better breakfasts than others. We really enjoyed the Terra Blue hotel in Kamari, Santorini. The rooms were good size and the staff was very accommodating. I would definitely travel with Wingbuddy again.... Lire la suite

We loved our trip! The transfers all went smoothly and we were well taken care of. We upgraded to 4 star hotels and they were all very comfortable and in good locations. We wouldn't hesitate to book w ith Wing Buddy again but we are only interested in the freedom packages without bus tours etc. it would be great if Wing Buddy could offer more destinations with air hotel and transfers in addition to the package tours.... We were extremely happy with our Wingbuddy 16 day Authentic Greek islands trip in June 2024. All of the properties were excellent. Each hotel was a pleasant surprise and we would stay at each one agai n in the future. Loved the island choices (Paros, Naxos and Santorini, each island had it's own unique flavor and experiences available. Our transfers were seamless, your welcome teams were always front and center and easy to find upon our arrival at each destination. Our liaisons, Remco and Effi, were super knowledgeable and helpful. They assisted us in recommending rental car vendors and booking extra excursions for us (which were all well priced). Our rental cars were delivered to our hotels and picked up from there as well, which I really liked. We had a really informative walking tour of the town of Kamira in Santorini. We did try many of Remco's restaurant recommendations and fully enjoyed them. I have to say that we would definitely go Wingbuddy again in the future, They dotted all of their i's and crossed all of their t's throughout our trip. We are actually thinking about either Japan or Spain/Portugal for next year. I have already recommended Wingbuddy to a few friends and neighbors since arriving back home. My husband and I enjoyed our trip immensely. The trip was well planned and the accommodations were great. We particularly enjoyed the hotel in Paros and in Santorini. Both hotels were charming, the st aff and management were incredible, everything was in place to ensure we had a wonderful experience. First time travelling with Wing Buddy and I must say I was VERY impressed. I have travelled extensively in the past so have lots to compare with. Everything went VERY smoothly, flights and ferries on time and transfers to and from airport/ferries was excellent. The hosts at the hotels in Santorini (the Armonia Hotel) Paros (Eris hotel) and in Naxos ( the Aeoli hotel) were vERY welcoming and went over and above what would normally be expected. My only complaint is that ALL the beds were very hard but I think that might be a Greek thing and we're spoiled in Canada. The islands hotel locations were a bit of a surprise - I would have picked old town every time; but after visiting old towns,it made a lot more sense to be close but not right in it. Terra blue sta ff and Eleni at Eri were exceptional. Also, I was very thankful that you took care of ferries, it could have been a nightmare figuring it out (and I take ferry regularly on Vancouver Island, I can only imagine how others may feel). I enjoyed the freedom to do my own activities without being on a strict schedule, and that the hotels were within a short walk to town, the facilities were spotless, the hosts were very helpful. The TerraBlue hotel in Santorini was wonderful as well as the staff, however, the walk up the hill was grueling. Would suggest getting something on level ground, alot of guests struggled with the hill. I enjoyed the organization of all the transfers, they were always at the port upon our arrival and promptly moved us to the hotels. Loved hotel Arethusa in Athens! I was so happy to see the destination representative waiting for me at the airport either a taxi driver already booked to take me to the hotel or the one who took us from the hotel to the airport! Our trip was exceptional. Despite 4 delays in our flight, the Wingbuddy rep was there waiting for us in Athens. When our flight from Denver to Munich was delayed and we missed our connection to Athens they were right there to assist in the middle of the night in making sure there would be someone at the airport to make sure we made the next ferry to Paros and they made sure there would be someone to meet us in Paros at midnight to get us to our hotel. Overall, Wingbuddy was a good way to travel. The whole trip was well organized with someone to meet us at every stop. The people overall were very welcoming and friendly. The hotels ranged from very g ood to poor at one of the stops. 3 of the 4 hotels were clean and satisfactory, with fairly good location to restaurants and shops. Some walking (uphill) was necessary at all hotels. (Up to 1 km) People should be aware that going in mid-October means that many shops and restaurants were closed. Your agent in Athens was very helpful in arranging for another Santorini hotel. Unpleasant surprise to find when checking in that our hotel was closing for the season 2 days after we arrived for our 4 night stay!! No advance warning!??? We didn't even unpack in the Kamari hotel. They arranged for a cab to take us across the island to Andromeda - great hotel. 10 minutes after we checked into our room - the phone rang and it was the agent asking if we were pleased with the hotel. Outstanding customer service turned a terrible situation into a great one. Boxed breakfast provided by Museum Hotel in Athens was truly awful. Not impressed with Rouge - crammed like sardines on 767 - 300 - Rouge has 282 seats while Air Canada has 211 seats on same plane! Air Canada 787 for return trip was much more comfortable. Swiss Air from Athens to Zurich was awesome. Would prefer to fly European carrier like Lufthansa. Service from Wingbuddy Call center was adequate - but I would prefer to deal with 1 person rather than whoever answers the phone. We are already thinking of another Wingbuddy trip. Suggest an additional night in Athens be added to this trip. First night we were exhausted and didn't see any of the city. We changed ferry ride from Santorini to Athens at end of trip to a 45 minute flight and are so glad we did. Arrived in Athens at 10AM giving us 1 full day to explore a beautiful city. Some other Wingbuddy clients we met wished they had also done so. After ferry rides from Athens to Naxos, Naxos to Paros and Paros to Santorini - we didn't feel a need for a last long ferry ride from Santorini to Athens. Taking a flight for a small charge basically gave us a full day in Athens rather than a full day travelling on the ferry. We were very happy we upgraded to 4 star hotels. The trip was fabulous ... perfect mix of being cared for and being totally on your own. Princess Hotel in Naxos is fabulous, the management goes to many lengths to make sure your stay is everything yo u were hoping for. Our upgraded hotel in Paros, Parikia, fell short. It was very clean, but the shower very small and it was quite far from town and you have to walk on a fairly busy road with no sidewalk. The El Greco on Santorini was beautiful, the service excellent, but it was very far from town and huge with none of the coveted views we were hoping for. Definitely recommend this trip and Wingbuddy’s service and I plan on booking with this company again soon on trips like this one. Kamari Beach was our favourite. High Mill hotel our least favourite because of the breakfast. We were mislead on the sign to look for on arrival at Santorini. Hotels were exceptional for different reasons - Athens Museum Hotel was wonderful but the area that the hotel is in was a bit sketchy and probably not recommended to walk in that neighbourhood at n ight. Staff was great, we were checked in early and it was clean and quiet and breakfast was excellent. Santorini - Hotel Andreas was wonderful with a great room, balcony, pool great location and excellent breakfast. Naxos - hotel Astir - fabulous with large pool great location a few blocks from the beach and lovely staff. Our reservation was mixed up so we stayed at Princess Resort for the first night and that was also good with a beautiful room and across from the beach. However, my travelling partner’s room was upgraded to a suite! Great service. Paros - High Mill - this hotel was the least favourite. It was a bit of a walk into town along a busy dark road, the hotel was very old and outdated and the room was barely acceptable. Cleanliness was an issue. Perhaps there was a newer section but if there was, we weren’t in that section. Breakfast was unacceptable to us so we went into town for breakfast on 2 days of the 3. It was unappealing, chaotic, disorganized. The view from the balcony was amazing but this 15 minutes a day did not make up for the negatives. However, the pool was lovely. We were glad we were only in this hotel for 3 days. Taxis and transportation between destinations was very organized and welcomed as this took away stress for us. When we booked Wingbuddy staff was very helpful and when there was a last minute change required because of a ferry strike, the staff at Wingbuddy asked our preference and were able to make it work. This holiday was the first I have done through a travel company. I have done my own reservations previously Including hotels, airlines, taxis, ferries trains etc. I appreciated having the details taken care of. The only strike against was the Hotel High Mill in Paros. As a seasoned traveller, that particular hotel was one I would have been ok with 40 years ago but not at the age of 63. I see that it is again part of your Athens and Greek Islands package. A mistake I would suggest. We added 2 days in Athens and I feel that this was a great decision. Other people we talked to, also with Wingbuddy, did not like Athens and some didn’t even see the sights because they didn’t have an extra day to get to know the city. Thank you... Lire la suite

We stayed in 4 different hotels....in Athens, Naxos, Paros and Santorini. All of them were very good except the hotel in Paros (hotel Panorama). We were mostly unhappy with its location on a busy road without sidewalks, between a hardware store and an appliance repair shop. The hotel itself was dated and very plain and the walk to the nicer area/old town was at least 20 minutes. Aside from a little disappointment with the hotel in Santorini, the one offered in the original package looked to be much nicer, overall the trip was amazing. The last resort in Naxos made up for it . It was awesome. There was a last minute ferry strike, but Wingbuddy was right on top of things and got us on the last ferry out of Paros. Service was A+.     Déjeuner à votre hôtel à Athènes. Accueil dans le vestibule de votre hôtel en matinée et transfert au port d’Athènes pour votre embarquement sur un traversier rapide en direction de Paros.

    Île montagneuse dont le point culminant est à plus de 1000 mètres d'altitude, Naxos est l'île la plus élevée et la plus grande des Cyclades. Appréciée pour ses magnifiques plages de sable doré, les plus longues de tout l'archipel, Naxos est aussi l'île la plus fertile avec ses vallons parsemés d'oliviers, d'arbres fruitiers et de champs de légumes. Dans la ville de Naxos, promenez-vous à travers les ruelles sinueuses jusqu'à la vieille citadelle vénitienne qui est restée intacte depuis le XVIe siècle.

  • Jour 11: Naxos - Santorin

    Les villages de maisons blanchies à la chaux accrochées à flanc de coteau ont fait de Santorin l'un des lieux les plus photographiés au monde. Le charme de cette île volcanique et le mystère qui l'entoure ont même fait naître l'hypothèse qu'il s'agit en réalité de la Cité perdue de l'Atlantide. De l'autre côté de l'île, les plages de sable noir glissent vers la mer. Aventurez-vous sur cette île pour apprécier un coin de paradis où, après avoir observé un coucher de soleil inoubliable, vous voudrez probablement rester pour toujours.

  • Jour 15: Santorin - Athènes

    Déjeuner à votre hôtel à Santorin. Accueil dans le vestibule de votre hôtel et transfert au port de Santorin pour votre embarquement sur un traversier rapide en direction d'Athènes.

Nous avons sélectionné les trajets les plus courts entre les îles afin de maximiser votre temps sur chaque île. Ci-dessous le détail des durées:
Athènes - Paros  : 4 heures. Départ à 07:00 AM.
Paros - Naxos :  45 minutes . Départ à 11:45 AM.
Naxos - Santorin : 2 heures. Départ à 12:50 PM.
Santorin - Athènes  (traversée haute-vitesse) 5h40 min. Départ autour de 12:00 PM.
